It's been long since I updated my blog with my holiday posts being backdated like nobody's business. I apologised.
I have recently joined a new company, a new job and it's keeping me really busy. Time passes very fast at work which somehow, a good thing. I am busy with my school work too. Mid-term is coming up this Sunday, assignments due this week too. Thus, I really have no time posting my Korea and Japan pictures. AND!! Sharing with you guys about my solo trip. Sigh~
Anyhow, after this busy tide gets over, I will plan and schedule my posts up. For now, everything is going well on my side. I am much happier, still feeling much anxiety about every little things like school work and work. HAHAHA!
I have not been catching with some groups but seriously, I sucks at planning meetups so I usually meet whoever texted me if Im up for one. Of course, I sometimes do text my friends if they want to meet for dinner. Time is precious for me because I have to balance between work and school. Until my degree is over, perhaps, time will be enough to spread among various groups. Now, I have my priorities. Somehow, to certain people, it's just 'what goes around, comes around'.
Till then...
#hseolahig is my hashtag on Instagram. When hashtag was introduced a few years back, I was interested in it and I created my own hashtag to save moments, that I would want to refer back in future.
As time goes by, this hashtag has become my holiday hashtag. It is now saving photos I took during my overseas trips. And I always post 'throwback' pictures. Due to lack of time I have to blog and share here if you need any reference to where to visit or eat in the countries I've been, feel free to type '#hseolahig' on Instagram. You may also DM me like where is the place because I usually geotagged them via country. I have requests asking me to share itinerary but my itineraries were not very well-planned. LOL~ Most of them, I only listed the places, cafes or shops to visit together with directions.
So don't be afraid of asking me about these places, I am really happy to be able to help.

Couldn't find time to edit photos and prepare the travel posts because of my school assignments.
The deadlines are back to back, forcing me to be crazy recently.
Planning to do many editings during the Lunar New Year break.
Sorry for the late greetings. I was so restless after I'm back from Japan. And yes! I'm back~ The photos taken are not yet uploaded and edited so I guess it will take me months to share some beautiful pictures of Japan.
Japan was really beautiful. It's my first time in Japan and it was a kind of a solo trip because I was most of the time alone except in Tokyo. But I'd enjoyed the trip so so much. I think I should create some contents like how is traveling alone like especially for the first timer. I know there are like 100000000 bloggers or vloggers touching on such content but I just to share more on a personal feel to give people more assurance and what to look out~ This will need time and my semester is sadly starting next week. Time needed for all these.... hahaha!

Anyhow!
MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I have yet to work on my Korea photos because I was super busy with school, and now I am flying off to Japan. Am also thinking to blog the travel posts in a different way, so I am still brainstorming. Heh~
For now, I shall enjoy Japan, a new adventure :)
Till then...
"Learn to enjoy every minute of your life. Be happy now. Don't wait for something outside of yourself to make you happy in the future. Think how really precious is the time you have to spend, whether it's at work or with your family. Every minute should be enjoyed and savored." - Earl Nightingale
It's been awhile. September semester has been an exciting one. However, I am blessed to have groupmates who are so lovely and understanding. This semester comes and goes like nobody's business. The class is wonderful maybe for a few (?) and my lecturer is an awesome lady. I admired her and respect her.
And after the whole conference was, I realize that I have completed my first year of university. How did it even happen? Time is definitely flying. I still have a long way to go, for like about 4/5 more semesters to fully complete my part-time degree. It is never easy, I must say, but it's worth it. I am really fortunate to meet nice people who we study hard together.
Now, it's time to enjoy the last month of the year and we shall await the next year.
After 3 years, I'm back to Korea. I feel so homely this time. But lots of things have changed. However, vibes are still good as ever~
I am having withdrawal symptoms and I am thinking of how to share these trip here. So give me some time~ And the countdown timer to wrap up this semester and my next trip have started ticking. I am looking forward~
Happy Sunday to all~
As many of you should know, I have left my previous organization. After 5 years and 6 months, to be exact, YES! I left the organization. *Claps Claps* I've made the decision of leaving with a heavy heart and it took me awhile to finalize my decision.

1. I'm in my comfort zone
Being someone in the company for long, I have already know the culture, the people and how things work. I am able to plan my workday starting from having my breakfast casually at my desk, heading out for lunch to ease of ending work on time. For someone who is new, they would probably be uncomfortable for what I've stated in the above.
2. The friendship made
Colleagues who have become my friends were my motivation at work. Moving from different roles in these years, I have interacted with many people from various departments. Fortunately, I was able to form more than just work relationships with some of them. If you are in the corporate world, you probably know these friendships don't set up easily. The thought of leaving them and not seeing them every day was the major force that keeps me from resigning. We motivate each other to press on even we are dealing with different difficulties at work and keep each other entertained.
When you move on, this cycle repeats and you may not even find such relationships at all. These friendships fostered did not come easy.
3. Jobscope
Exploring different environment is not wrong. There are widespread of jobscopes out there. But one may be too comfortable in what he/she have been doing for years. I have friends who moved on to different workplaces who compare how different the scopes are when the job title is the same. To be honest, you can't compare, and there goes the saying "same same but different". Every organization has its requirements for a role. You made the choice, you bare with it.
For me, it is to move on, explore and see more about the world. And, to do what I am interested in doing because 'not now then when?'.
The above 3 points would probably speak for my uncertainties of moving on. However, I've decided to carry on somewhere when I still have the energy and time to do so. Never try never know. I do miss the people and I am currently adjusting to the new lifestyle. I will get used soon and chances will come by too. Let's be brave and have faith!

I am thinking if it will be good to revamp this space by being more engaging. I know most people are actually vlogging nowadays but I don't see myself doing that. But I want to improve in my writing skills so I thought it will be great to start something, since I have some free time now.
I'm thinking of something personalised, for example, sharing what I've read online and my thoughts after reading, photo dairy series - sharing of my travel pictures and random food/lifestyle pictures I have taken during my time with friends.
Maybe I should start planning soon.... And then, kick-start a brand new blog!
I have quite a lot to write actually. I will be scheduling more frequent posts may be this month or next. See how things go~
Till then... :)
Just as we keep flipping the calendar each month, I realized we left 4 months till we say goodbye to 2017. And I said to myself 'how fast~'.
2017 by far, has been eventful and tiring for me. Many happenings mainly at work, I am thinking of giving up honestly. Embarked a new journey by attending university this year, currently in my 2nd semester. Met a few nice girls around, somehow makes me want to go lessons always.
It's exam period now, I am taking a break from my revision and write something here. Be back again...
:)
\

So half of 2017 has passed and we have many questions about what we have achieved thus far.
Before we could even list down what we have done or have not time flies and I cannot remember when was the last time I've actually sat down and think of what has happened or what I want to achieve next.
It's been half a year since I've started school. Working and studying at the same time is not an easy task, I must say. I applaud friends who have survived and made it through.
As struggling between work and school, I have lesser time with some of my friends. And I have drifted away from some of them. Well, I put in the effort to catch up and meet most of them still. Those who have drifted may be due to different paths, different priorities. Nevermind, I still need to live.
I can't wait to travel to my second hometown in Oct/Nov and of course my first trip with my gfriends.

Till then...
It's like a bird being locked up in its cage, waiting for some human to set it free.
For now, it's all about self-motivation, endurance and flow together with everything.
I can't wait for my end year trips because it's like a retreat for me and a reward to myself. It's amazing that I can wait till end of year to travel. Travel has been an important part of my life.
For now... remain chill and be patient.

Decided to write something here, after a day of revision and my right hand is seriously aching from all these writings of notes and exams.
It's no longer a secret that I have started my part time degree this year. Yes, to be exact, I started my first semester in January, right after I came back from Taipei. It's been 4 months into this university life and everything is somehow flowing as it should. I do get discouraged when I was doing my essays and assignments. Afterall, the university is very different from polytechnics. Also, it's been 5 years since I graduated from poly, and that saying, I have not been touching books, doing assignments, going for lessons and exams. Somehow, this new journey is very new to me.
I have people asking me why so out of sudden and random? To question that, this is what this post is mainly about. Sometimes, some people take a longer time to realise their interests, passions and what they want. For me, I don't to join in the norm of taking a boring or common degree, but more of learning something I have an interest in, and that would probably help me in my career path. And so, here am I now, taking a degree of my choice. I often asked my friends what they want to do like what kind of jobs they want. Many times whatever people said and in reality, is opposite. I get puzzled. And there are times where after getting a degree, they realised it's not something they want to do. I know taking a degree at the age of 27 seems to be a little late, in my circle of friends. Most of them are completing their studies. But I'm glad I choose to take it slowly. People might not know why, they might have their own views on my choice, however, I should be responsible for myself.
So I want you to know, it's okay to realise your passion or pursue your goals slower than others. You are not going to get handcuff for that, it's not a crime. At least, you have a direction and you are working towards it. Sometimes, when we have many goals and we pursue them all together at one time, things may turn out disastrously. One step at a time, you will reach your destination one day.

Good luck to those having exams and those who are pursuing their dreams.

Arrival of April.
Unknowingly, it's April. Spring has come (there's no spring here).
It's the month of exam..yes~ after 5 years, I'm into this student life (part-time). Somehow, maybe I have been worry too much, I've gotten more sensitive. I get moodswings every now and then. There are times I just wanted to be isolated and stay away from everyone.
However, I do think it can be a good thing. Sometimes, you thought turning to a friend helps. But when he/she doesn't even help and make you feel even worse, I rather you talk to yourself, give yourself some time alone take it as self-realisation/reflection and take a break from any sources that will affect your feelings.
Came across an article from elitedaily. Have to nod my head many times while reading it. We do not have to have a reason to be sad/angry/happy. Go with the flow. We are humans, it's okay to have such feelings. Not everyone can understand or needs to understand what you are going through. Everything you do, you have to answer to yourself.
I'm feeling better...
So you will be fine too.
Happiness doesn't come true selfishness, but through selflessness.
Everything you do comes back around.
Someone told me he was taught that there is no selfishness when comes to love or happiness. I must said put it in this way, there is no right or wrong in love, happiness or any relationships. It takes two hands to clap. While one party could be the one giving more but gaining less. I disagree with whoever taught him that.
To maintain relationships, it is also up to one's personality on how one deal with them. Everyone handles relationships differently. We are not perfect but we could be less hurting. Or perhaps be a little sensitive. I have witness people being insensitive to a point I judged my views on my friendship. If you want me to put it in a blunt way, it will be I'm ashamed of my friends. Ohwell, people around me have been saying it's because I have not found someone I love, that's why I kind of don't understand this part. Like as if love means boy-girl relationship. It can mean family love too right? Weird people~ hahaha!
Anyway, I just want to say that we have the rights to love someone. But I think we should still have some humane in us. Show some empathy and understanding. Be a little more sensitive towards what you are posting on social media and saying. If your words contradict with your actions, then you have no rights to blame people or comment certain things. I find people who contradict themselves a little annoying, for girls, is like being bitchy or bimbo.
Time to go~ let's all do some self-reflect, bye!

With a blink of eye, we are in the 3rd month of 2017. My year end trip cum new year trip ended in early Jan. End Jan to early Feb was Lunar New Year and it's over again. From Dec to early Feb have been the joyous month where we were hit by festive seasons. Thus, it felt like no one is working. Now, the CBD is back to normal. Crowds everywhere.
Some things happened unknowingly and naturally. And I shall stay with it.
생일 축하합니다!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!
Yes, I have turn 27 today (before that my draft was 28. I follow too much on the lunar (korean) calendar~ ahahha!).
Looking back how I was still a child then young teenager and now adult, just amazing how time flies.
I'm already in my late 20s. I realised I have a changed in how I view things and how I react to certain issues. More mature? I can't possibly keep living in the past thinking people would still be the same. All I want is to be more happy and less worry. I think I have overcome most of the hardest reality that these past 5-7 years have tortured me.
To the people who I've lost or stop contacting, I understand we have taken a different path. But I'm glad we were once in the same direction. To people who have made used of me, thank you for making me come to senses. I won't be there for you anymore. I hope you are happy with where you are now and who you are with now. To the people who are currently still with me and closed to me, I hope we stay the same. Maybe because of each of our commitments, we are unable to see each other often. But technology has make it easy for us to stay contactable anywhere and anytime. I will be there for you.
Let us see by the end of 2017, how many more people I will gain and loss. If you are wondering why I stop replying texts and hang out, perhaps, I just want to have peace in my life. The less people I hang out with, the less problem I will have :)
Thanks whoever who wishes me and Happy Lunar New Year everyone!!
HAPPY 2017!

We are into the 4th week of 2017 and close to the end of January.
I'm back from Taipei for New Year countdown.
What I can say is that I enjoyed myself. Have posted with a picture of Taipei 101 with fireworks. This was the best shot taken among all the fireworks photos.
Feel so short for this well-deserved holiday~ but an awakened trip and self-realisation. And so I came back with a changed mindset, Definitely, a better person of course.. in this year, maybe a lot of things may change, but life is all about changes. Sometimes, when we looked back, we regret on our choices. But it's life. If it meant to happen, it will somehow happen.
The year has started well for me. And I pray for a smooth year for me.
:)
We have come to the last day of 2016. Another year has passed. 2016 was an eventful year compared to 2015. Ups and downs met. And all I can say and hope for is a more peaceful year ahead.
No resolution set for 2017 because we all know it's fake and not sticking to any of it. hahaha! I'm just embracing every comings and happenings with an open heart.
Taking away the best memories in 2016, perhaps reconciling with lost friends and FINALLY leaving my footprints in the States.
One lesson to learn is that to stop letting people into my world. I realised I prefer meeting individually than a huge group. I become tired of letting people in and being used and get dumped. Afterall, as we grow older, we should just have a minor circle of closest people around us.
I guess in the new year, I will get a set of same questions all over again. For now, I really hope the year to end peacefully and start smoothly.
I hope when I get to pen down that 2017 is a better year than 2016. Right now, I'm leaving a lot of unsaid things/feelings and certain memories of the past I would not want to remember behind.
2017 is a fresh blank page with no resolutions, but just me.
Thank you everyone, everything, every happenings.. I'm leaving you behind to love myself again.
