Post-trip Thoughts
“Travel brings power and love back into your life.” - Rumi
I'm back from Taiwan going 2 weeks. And I am still having post-holiday syndrome. Keep looking through the pictures I've took in Taiwan. The beautiful scenery I witnessed in He Huan Shan.
The driver who drove us up the mountain said this "It is not luck to what you will get to see when you get up the mountain, what god wants you to see you shall see when you are up there." Oh well, a very short sentence but set me thinking for awhile in the car ride.
I went up to Cingjing 2 years ago, wanting to show my parents the beautiful scenery. But was hit by a bad weather where we saw nothing but fog. And the weather was freezing cold. This time up at Cingjing was clear view and bearable temperature. And I thank god for the blessing they gave us to witness such nature beauty.
This trip was very much needed because I was abit lost in life, tired with work and personally upset about how things change as we grow. I get to leave the sunny island for a week to enjoy freely. I think of nothing but rather where to go and what to eat. Ironically, you also get remembered suddenly because people started texting you to help them buy this and that. I came back with a new fresh brain although my work in office is driving crazy that I want to get out of here again.
The previous thoughts which I am upset, demoralized, lost have very much gone away with this trip. I want to see things easy and take things easily too. It's more about treating myself better than others. Love myself more than loving anyone else. Afterall, I live only once this life.
I hope whoever read this will be happy. Ohya, the words from Taylor Swift's concert was really great. We are not opinions of others who do not know us. You are who you are :)
